Recently the State of California Health and Human Services Agency, Department of Social Services issued a Request for Applications and they have announced their Awardees! The funding will be distributed to qualified nonprofit organizations to provide a range of immigration-related services including services to assist those seeking to apply for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), applicants seeking assistance for Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) and other immigration remedies, services to help permanent residents seeking to apply for naturalization, legal training, and technical assistance services, and outreach and education activities. Among those awarded throughout California, are many organizations in the Bay Area and San Mateo County. The Office of Immigrant Affairs would like to congratulate the following organizations that will receive funding:
