Dogs are allowed off leash on many trails within Quarry Park. Below is a map of allowed dog trail use within the park.
Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the playground area or within the fenced area of the pump track.

Background
Off-leash dog recreation in Quarry Park is the result of a pilot program carried out in 2022-23 and with approval of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors in July 2023. A Coastal Development Permit (CDP) was approved November 2023 with the stipulation that the ‘grassy area’ above the park playground is to allow only on-leash dog access.
